Villa Quattro Venti embodies the very essence of the island of Capri. A historic villa surrounded by greenery, it offers an unparalleled view and is a short stroll from the Piazzetta, nestled between the blue of the sea, the green of the olive trees, and the yellow of the lemons grown under the sun of the Gulf of Naples.

Located just a ten-minute walk from Capri's lively Piazzetta, with its glamorous atmosphere and always-crowded tables, Villa Quattro Venti is immersed in the peacefulness of a nearly half-acre Mediterranean garden (over 2,000 square meters). The panorama is simply incomparable, embracing the village of Capri, the Mediterranean Sea, the Sorrento Peninsula, and Mt. Vesuvius. It's the perfect mix between excitement and relaxation, centrally located yet private.

A unique personality

Villa Quattro Venti boasts a unique and lengthy history. It was built in the early 1900s in perfect Caprese architectural style, commissioned by the American poet and artist Elihu Vedder, who had his studio right here, surrounded by Capri's natural beauty. The residence has had numerous illustrious owners since then, including aristocrats, writers, artists, and celebrities.

Class and technology

The villa recently underwent an extensive high-end renovation with the utmost care and attention paid to every last detail. The interior spaces encompass two entire floors, for a total of nearly 2,700 square feet (250 square meters) of living space. One of the two scenic terraces leads to a 'bright living room with vaulted ceilings and windows with a view. The living area is completed by the kitchen and a guest bathroom.

Part of the living room is equipped with a retractable blackout system that allows it to be transformed into an independent bedroom with ensuite bathroom and wardrobes.

The upper floor of Villa Quattro Venti is accessible by a comfortable indoor staircase or directly from the garden, and features 'two additional bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. Another bedroom with bathroom is available in the guest house. The villa can therefore accommodate a total of 6 guests (or up to 8 when counting the additional convertible bedroom in the living room.)

Nature at your door

Two large terraces equipped with tables and fine furnishings open to the sides of the living area. One of them is further enhanced with a splendid scenic jacuzzi. There is also a rooftop space with a breathtaking panorama. The vast garden is home to olive trees, lemon trees, and other fragrant essences of Mediterranean flora.
